Assoc Prof Jozef Puttera reappointed Commandant of M. R. Štefánik Armed Forces Academy

Assoc Prof Jozef Puttera has once again become Commandant of the Milan Rastislav Štefánik Armed Forces Academy Liptovský Mikuláš. He was reappointed to the post by President of the Slovak Republic Zuzana Čaputová during a reappointment ceremony held at the Grasalkovich Palace, Bratislava today (30 October 2019). Also in attendance at the ceremony was Defence Minister Peter Gajdoš.
Jozef Puttera, who has served as Commandant of the Armed Forces Academy Liptovský Mikuláš since 2015, completed his studies at the Military Technical College and, at its successor institution, the Military Academy in Liptovský Mikuláš. He later became Associate Professor in Theoretical Electrical Engineering. Over the course of his professional career he has undertaken research, development and studies into such areas as Military Intelligence and Electronic Warfare. The results of his research and development activities have been published both nationally and internationally. He has contributed solutions to several national and international projects in his field of specialty.
