After Slovakia signs contract with Croatia to supply textiles, our soldiers are closer to getting brand new combat uniforms

In the presence of Slovak and Croatian Defence Ministers Robert Kaliňák and Ivan Anušić, representatives of the Slovak Ministry of Defence and Croatia-based firm 'Agencija Alan' or Alan Agency signed a contract for the supply of textiles for the production of the new Personal Clothing System – Combat Uniform (PCS-CU) for Slovakia's Armed Forces, on the margins of the NATO Defence Ministerial in Brussels on 15 October 2025.

Speaking from Brussels, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Robert Kaliňák said: “For us, this is a turning point. I believe we will be able to present the soldier’s brand new combat clothing system to the people of Slovakia by the end of 2025. Our cooperation with Croatia underscores the importance of fostering strategic partnerships to benefit from considerable savings in the modernisation of the Armed Forces.”

The contract was put out to international competition. The quality fabrics to be supplied by Croatia's Alan Agency will be owned by the SVK MOD and will be made continuously available to the SVK Defence Supply Chain (DSC) companies and firms to sew all items of clothing for the standard issue combat uniform for the Slovak Armed Forces.
